This good-sized tower has two small chips right near the base. Also, during the polishing process, they've missed about 1mm, also right near the base (see enlarged pic - you'll notice the 1mm raw line where the shiney part ends, but it's not that noticeable when it's standing). I think the polisher must have been half-asleep that day.
